My prayer

God,

Thank you for your overflowing generosity. Today, I thank you for all the blessings and gifts you have given to me. Thank you for the family you have provided me with, for they have nurtured me and loved me. Thank you for the shelter that your provide me with, for it will keep me safe. Thank you for the food and water that has kept me alive. Thank you for being by my side everyday of my life. Thank you for providing me daily with your mercy and grace. You have lead me through my hard times and creating a path for me to follow. I appreciate all you have given me

1. Why did you choose this particular prayer?

I chose this particular prayer because I wanted to show God that I am thankful for all he has done. Thanksgiving prayer is a thanks to God for all the wonderful things he has done for us. This type of prayer is important to me because He has done so much for me and I haven't thanked him enough. In this prayer i listed many things that i am thankful for and appreciative for.

2. How does this prayer relate to your life?

This prayer relates to me life I'm many ways. Firstly, this prayer is a form of me talking to God. Through this prayer I can talk to God and create a relationship with him. Secondly, this is my way or worshiping and thanking God for all that he has done for me. I want God to know that I am grateful for him in my life. And Lastly, this prayer is personal to me because this is why I am thankful for. Many people might have different things they are thankful for, but this is what i am thankful for. Thesis why this prayer relates to my life.

3. Do you think prayer affects your relationship with God? Why or why not?

I personally that this prayer affects my relationship with god because it shows him how much I appreciate him. Sometimes when people tell you how you have impacted it makes you happy, I feel like this is that same way with God. Sometime you need to reassure him that you appreciate all that he has done for you. He knows that you do not take him for granted and you and makes your relationship with God stronger. This is why this prayer affects my relationship with God.
